Nicole

I first received recognition for my love of Art and Drama whilst at school. By combining the two, my love for production design developed and I contributed towards many drama productions. It was quite a few years before I decided to pursue a career in TV and film set design. I first gained years of experience working in the hospitality industry and living independently. After graduating I gained some work experience. Unfortunately further work opportunities did not arise. After dealing with some personal issues, I passed my driving test . This new found confidence led to a career move to London Whilst seeking work I decided to work on an independent project to brush up on my CAD skills. I started by surveying and re-designing a bar I previously worked in. I have been working in Europe’s largest prop house as a Bookman since March. I have gained valuable experience in assisting buyers and designers in selecting props. Here I have gained knowledge of design history and in selecting props of the correct vintage.
